2．Doris Lessing: the real, the unreal, the understood and the misunderstood.  This would discuss the odd way in which Doris Lessing combines realism with impossibility in her writing.
朵丽斯列辛: 现实与虚构、相知与误解。此一主题主要探讨朵丽斯列辛在作品中结合现实主义与超越可能性的手法。

主讲人简介：
Joseph Linzmeier received his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin and his Ph.D. in English from SUNY-Buffalo.  He has taught in China, America and Saudi Arabia.  His scholarship has been published in America, Europe and Asia.  Currently he is doing research on Doris Lessing while on sabbatical from the Applied English Department of Ming Chuan University in Taiwan.

Joseph Linzmeier博士在美国威士康辛大学取得英文学士学位，于美国纽约州立大学水牛城分校取得英文博士学位。林之迈先生曾任职于中国、美国与沙特阿拉伯，学术著作曾刊登于美国、欧洲及亚洲等地。现任台湾铭传大学应用英文系任副教授，今年获准申请在职研究休假，针对作家朵丽斯列辛(Doris Lessing)进行学术研究。
